Lock ’em up: Farmington police warn about thefts from vehicles

Farmington police are warning residents to keep car doors locked, after thefts from two vehicles in the overnight hours between November 29 and 30.

The vehicles, which were parked on Arundel Street and Longacre Street (west of Gill Road and south of Grand River, were left unlocked. Thieves stole cash and loose change.

In a nixle.com alert, police said residents should remove all valuable items and packages from vehicles, and lock doors. Keeping driveway lights on overnight is also recommended.
