A Farmington Hills burger joint with a 10-year history on Orchard Lake Road will close its doors on January 31.
Jaws Jumbo Burgers owners this week announced that the movie-themed restaurant will re-open a little further south.
According to a press release, “In between flipping burgers and waiting on customers, the crew managed to snag a private investor, and all crew members will be relocating to a starter store in Nashville, Tennessee.”
Located just south of 13 Mile Road, the restaurant serves up a variety of specialty burgers in a movie-themed atmosphere. The business name comes from the 1975 blockbuster movie “Jaws”, which is included in the in-house video loop that plays on widescreen television sets.
“Many customers have said when you come to Jaws, it’s like the television show Cheers where everybody knows your name,” employee Tenera Gaddis said.
