Call to Action Coalition honors Farmington Hills officer

A Farmington area nonprofit recently honored a Farmington Hills Police officer for his “tireless leadership” in the area of domestic violence awareness and prevention.

The Farmington/Farmington Hills Call to Action Coalition at its October 7 Community Breakfast recognized Lt. Jon Haupt, who co-founded of the Farmington Hills High Risk Response Team. The award-winning team organized in 2012 to create a coordinated community response to domestic violence.

Haupt has been with the department since 1994, and was promoted to his current rank two years ago.
