Consumers Energy Home Efficient Workshop: Sept. 26, 6 p.m., Main Library

Want to save money on your utility bill by making your home more energy-efficient with free or low-cost methods? Get dozens of how-to tips from Jennifer Eschelbach, Outreach Coordinator for Consumers Energy. Community Sings: Sept. 27, 7 p.m., Farmington branch

Matt Watroba will expertly guide everyone to sing their favorite songs and maybe learn some new ones, whether you are a casual singer, a shower singer or even been asked to mouth the words. The format is "in the round" style to encourage all levels and all ages to sing. No experience necessary!
