Farmington and Farmington Hills will kick off National Substance Abuse Prevention Month with the annual Call to Action Coalition’s Annual Community Breakfast, held October 7 at the Costick Center in Farmington Hills.
Doors open at 7 a.m., and breakfast will be served at 7:15 a.m.
Guest speakers will talk about the prevalence of substance abuse and domestic violence, how Farmington and Farmington Hills public safety officials have coped with these situations, how community members can become more informed and aware, and how to help friends, neighbors, and family members struggling with substance abuse and violence.
