Learn about mass transit ballot proposal Sept. 21

Farmington Hills resident Alexis Blizman, who currently serves as a county coordinator for “C3: Citizens for Connecting Our Communities”, will speak at the September 21 combined meeting of the Farmington/Farmington Hills Democratic Club (FFHDC) and the West Bloomfield Democratic Club.

Blizman, who is Policy Director for the Ecology Center, an environmental non-profit with offices in Ann Arbor and Detroit, has been working in Democratic and progressive politics for over 20 years. She will address the mass transit proposal on the November 8 ballot proposal, which aims to connect Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties with rapid, reliable, regional transit.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m., with a “Meet and Greet” at 6:30 p.m., in the Pipefitters Local 636 Union Hall, 30100 Northwestern Hwy., Farmington Hills.
