Boogie on down to the Farmington Farmers Market September 3, where you’ll find live music, activities for kids, and plenty of Michigan-made products and produce.
The Full Tilt Boogie Blues Band starts playing at 10 a.m.; the market is open its usual hours, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Market Manager Walt Gajewski said he is always surprised at how busy Labor Day weekend is.
“Every year we seem to get a little bigger,” he said. “I think kicking it local is a great way to stretch the weekend.”
About 45 farmers, crafters, and artisans will gather at the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion and Riley Park. The market is open Saturdays through November 5. Learn more at farmingtonfarmersmarket.com or follow the market on Facebook.
