Farmington Hills Police investigators are looking for a steel blue Ford Fusion with front end damage, in connection with an August 20 fatal crash on Northwestern Highway.
According to a department press release, Detroit resident Clanton Wimberley, 55, was traveling south on Northwestern Highway, north of 13 Mile Road at around 12:30 a.m., when a Dodge Ram struck his motorcycle. He died at the scene.
The pick-up driver, a 25-year-old Dearborn man, left before police arrived, but later turned himself in to Dearborn Police.
Based on evidence left at the scene, investigators are looking for a 2010-2012 Ford Fusion with driver’s side front end damage.
Police do not believe alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
