Farmington Hills temple hosts Tao family camp

Michigan Zhong Shu Temple in Farmington Hills will host a youth summer camp August 20 and 21, with the theme, “Cherish Life”, including oneself, family, friends, and all other living beings.

The camp, which is open to families with children ages 6-12, is designed to help children foster a happy life at an early age. To ensure that participants reap the most benefit, all family members are encouraged to attend this event. At least one adult from the participating children’s family is required to attend full-time.

The camp will be conducted in a fun, interactive and inspiring way. Children and their family members will be shown how they can incorporate these principles in their daily life so they will be grateful, fulfilled, and understand life’s true meaning.

Camp will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The cost of $30 per participant includes a t-shirt and healthy vegetarian meals. Space is limited; register by August 10 using the form at facebook.com/michigantemple. To learn more, call Brenda at 248-910-6608 or the temple host Rocky Chen, 734-890-2307.
