Farmington Community Chorus headlines at Stars in the Park

The Farmington Community Chorus returns to the amphitheater in Heritage Park Thursday, featured in this week’s Stars in the Park concert.

Established 36 years ago and comprised of about 70 singers, the full chorus, smaller group, and soloist performances will be accompanied by a keyboardist, as well as bass, drums, and woodwinds.

Stars in the Park sponsor Mercedes-Benz Financial Services will once again offer two random drawings for a one-week Mercedes-Benz driving experience. Attendees who are 21 years or older with a valid U.S. driver’s license may enter the random drawing raffle by visiting the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services vehicle display at Heritage Park during each summer concert. The first driving experience winner will be announced at the July 14 concert, and the second winner will be announced at the final concert of the season on August 18.

Admission to the 7 p.m. concert is free. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair. In case of bad weather, head over to the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd. in Farmington Hills.
