Enjoy “Swing In The Park” July 28, as the FCB Big Band performs during the Stars in the Park free concert series in Heritage Park.

FCB Big Band
The FCB Big Band performs Thursday in Heritage Park.

Under the direction of Randy Barber, the 20-piece ensemble will perform music from the big band era, featuring great standards, some popular tunes with a talented vocalist and a little swing. The concert begins at 7 p.m., and Heritage Park is located on Farmington Road, between 10 and 11 Mile Roads in Farmington Hills.

Stars in the Park sponsor Mercedes-Benz Financial Services will once again offer two random drawings for a one-week Mercedes-Benz driving experience. Attendees who are 21 years or older with a valid U.S. driver’s license may enter the random drawing raffle by visiting the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services vehicle display at Heritage Park during each summer concert. The first driving experience winner was announced at the July 14 concert, and the second winner will be announced at the final concert of the season on August 18.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair. In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd. in Farmington Hills.
