Go to the movies with Trinity and Friends Choir

The Trinity in the Woods Episcopal “Trinity and Friends” choir will in August present a multi-media production featuring songs from movies past and present, with a benefit for St. Alexander’s Food Pantry.

Soloists, duets, trios, small ensembles, and a full chorus perform in this fully staged, choreographed show at 8 p.m. August 18, 19, 25 and 26. The multi-generational extravaganza features music from “Tarzan”, “Harry Potter”, “Rio”, “How to Marry A Millionaire”, “Strike Up the Band”, and many more. The group will also pay tribute to those entertainers who have taken their final “curtain call,” and bestow a Lifetime Achievement Award upon a special American movie icon.

In addition to the regular performances, the August 20 charity gala for the food pantry begins at 5 p.m. Tickets for the gala are $100, $50, and $30.

Tickets for the regular concerts are $12 pre-sale, $15 at the door.  Order tickets for either event online trinityinthewoods.org.
