AT&T is now covering more of Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties – including Farmington Hills – with its 4G network.
According to a press release, the changes give area residents and businesses mobile Internet speeds up to four times faster than 3G. The additional capacity on more than 30 towers is like adding more lanes to a highway, carrying traffic from a customer’s device to the cell tower. That means customers in these communities can now use their smartphones and tablets to surf the Internet faster than ever before.
In Farmington Hills, faster speeds will be most noticeable along Grand River, between Drake and Gill Roads.
