Four seasoned, Detroit-area musicians will bring their “Rat Pack of Rock” sound to Friday’s Rhythmz in Riley Park concert.
The Secrets will take the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion “stage” at 7 p.m. Drummer Ralph Serafino is known for his work with Rob Tyner Band and the Torpedoes. He has also played with The Look, Robyn Robbins (formerly Bob Seger’s Silver Bullet Band) and the New MC5.
According to the band’s bio: “At any hour of any given day there is a great probability that somewhere in the world there is music being enjoyed that was originally written and produced in Detroit. These songs represent a body of popular music that has served as the virtual soundtrack for the lives of multiple generations of music fans.”
In case of rain, the concert moves directly across Grand River Avenue to the First United Methodist Church. Food and drink are not allowed in the church.
