The Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce on July 7 formally welcomed Brown Dog Creamery & Dessert Bar to downtown Farmington.
Owners Paul Gabriel and Brian Scherle introduced their unique flavors to the community during Art on the Grand in June. Scherle said the response from the community during a “soft open” over the past two weeks has been overwhelming.
In addition to flavors like Salty Dog, Grasshopper, and Aztec Chocolate, the micro-creamery features blends of ice cream and alcohol, along with craft cocktails and Michigan craft beer. There’s also a food menu featuring plated desserts and “small plates” of warm olives, meats and cheeses, specialty macaroni and cheese dishes and more.
