Farmington city council recently appointed Farmington-based attorney Thomas Pascaris to the Farmington Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors.

Pascaris replaces board member Dan Higgins, who resigned because he moved his business, Visibles Marketing, outside of downtown Farmington. His term will expire on February 28, 2018.

A former restauranteur, Pascaris operates his legal office in the Liberty Building on Liberty Street, which he also owns. He lives in Commerce Township and volunteers on the 2016 Downtown Master Plan Steering Team.

“I am looking forward to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table,” Pascaris said. “Our city has so much potential, and the DDA works tirelessly to see the City of Farmington live up to its potential.”

“Thomas owns property in the downtown, operates a business in the downtown and serves on a current committee – that’s a trifecta to me,” said Annette Knowles, DDA Executive Director. “Having experience as a member of the Steering Team has given Thomas some tools to have a very short learning curve and immediate positive impact.”
