UPDATE: Farmington, Hills police investigate overnight vehicle break-ins

Farmington and Farmington Hills officers are investigating several thefts from vehicles that happened sometime between Thursday evening and Friday morning.


Farmington Public Safety officers are investigating the early morning theft of touch screen radios from two vehicles parked in an apartment complex on Farmington Road, south of Nine Mile Road.

According to a nixle.com alert, windows on both vehicles were smashed to gain entry. Anyone with information is asked to call 248-474-5500 and speak with Detective Wood (ext. 2239) or Commander DuLong (ext. 2246).

Farmington Hills police say items were stolen from four vehicles in the southwest part of the city. Farmington Co-Op (Nine Mile and Gill Roads), Diamond Forest Apartments (Halsted north of Nine Mile), and Indian Creek Condominiums (Nine Mile and Gill Roads) were targeted.
