Hillside, Kenbrook elementary schools get new principals

Two Farmington Public Schools principals will have new assignments in the 2016-2017 school year, Superintendent Dr. George Heitsch announced June 14.

Pam Green, current principal at Hillside Elementary School, has been selected to serve as the new principal for Kenbrook Elementary School, and current Warner Upper Elementary School principal Rob Kauffman will take her place.

Green has been with Farmington Public Schools since 1986, and in 2006, began serving as principal, first at William Grace Elementary and then at Hillside. She holds a B.S. in Education and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University. She also has an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership/Administration from Wayne State University.

Kauffman joined Farmington Public Schools in 2003 as principal of Lanigan Elementary School, where he served until moving to Warner during the last school year. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Michigan University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership.

These appointments are effective July 1, 2016.
