Celebrate the longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice, June 20 at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills.
From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., take a hayride through the park, enjoy roasting marshmallows around a campfire, explore the Nature Center, create a fairy door and art projects, visit the Children’s Garden, and find out what makes this day so special with games and outdoor activities.
Adults must accompany children on the hayride wagon. The fee is $5 per person. For a guaranteed spot, pre-registration is available online at recreg.fhgov.com or at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd. in Farmington Hills.
