Local students named to Dean’s List at Davenport University

Davenport University has named several local students to the Dean’s List for the Winter 2016 Semester. To achieve the Dean’s List, a student must maintain a minimum 3.5 grade point average while enrolled in at least nine credits of regular coursework. These students qualified:

  • Crystal Crawford of Farmington
  • Tara Elia of Farmington Hills
  • Tyler Huston of Farmington Hills
  • Henry Pulley of Farmington
  • Nichole Rybak of Farmington Hills
  • Jennifer Thomas of Farmington Hills
Eliana Ginis named to Lehigh Dean’s List

Dean’s List status, which is awarded to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses, has been granted to Eliana Ginis, of Farmington Hills, for the fall 2016 semester.

Kevin Pachuta graduates from John Carroll University

Kevin Pachuta of Farmington graduated with a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University on May 22, 2016.

Local students named to President’s List at Davenport University

Davenport University has announced that several local students have been named to the President’s List for the winter 2016 semester. To achieve recognition, a student must maintain a minimum 3.8 grade point average while enrolled in at least nine credits of regular coursework. These local students qualified:

  • Katelyn Creighton of Farmington Hills
  • Crystal Gutierriez of Farmington
  • Larisa Myakhkov of Farmington Hills
  • Andrew Toth of Farmington Hills
Farmington Hills swimmer Christopher Szymczak competes at NCAA championships

Wheaton College swimmer Christopher Szymczak, of Farmington Hills, competed in this year’s NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, and was recognized by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin as Rookie of the Year during the spring 2016 semester. Szymczak is a graduate of Southfield Christian High School.

Aarushi Suneja receives NEOMED degree

Northeast Ohio Medical University honored 210 of Ohio’s newest physicians, pharmacists and medical professionals during the University’s Commencement, May 21, 2016, at The University of Akron’s E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Center. Farmington Hills resident Aarushi Suneja was among the graduates who received a Doctor of Medicine.
