Streets close tonight for Art on the Grand

Art on the Grand, a juried art festival, takes over downtown Farmington June 4 and 5. Here’s what you should know:

When the streets close

Grand River will close to traffic, from Grove Street to Farmington Road, beginning at 7 p.m. tonight (June 3). Detour routes will be posted.

Festival hours

June 4, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and June 5, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

What’s happening during the Festival

Artist booths will line both sides of Grand River. The DIA and Farmington Community Library will offer make-and-take flower projects, free of charge. Saturday’s Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market

The Market will be open as usual, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Riley Park, featuring only growers and prepared foods.
