Farmington Hills company adopts Michigan state park

American Profit Recovery, a Farmington Hills-based collection agency, is helping to clean up one of Michigan’s most visited parks.

In past years, the company has participated in Michigan’s Adopt a Park Program at Proud Lake State Park, contributing more than 600 hours and thousands of dollars in supplies.

This year, the staff took part in several projects at Island Lake Recreation Area, which is among Michigan’s top five of the most visited state parks. They built more than 20 brand new picnic tables, and landscaped and beautified four different areas of the park.
