Farmington area students will showcase their talents at the Governor Warner Mansion gazebo in Farmington June 5, during a 1:30 p.m. concert.
Students will be performing dance, music and literature works of art from this year’s theme “Let Your Imagination Fly”.
The 12 young performers took part in the PTA Reflections contest, in which students submit original creations in music composition, dance choreography, literature, film production, photography, and visual arts. Winners at the building level are then judged at district, state, and national levels.
“There is a lot of talent in the youth of Farmington and Farmington Hills and this is a chance to show off to the public and help the students learn how to develop their talent,” said Pauline Kim, a volunteer with the Farmington Public Schools PTA Reflections committee.
The show is free of charge and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The Mansion is located at 33805 Grand River.
