Look and feel great as you learn how to update your look with changes to your hair, make-up, and color choices. Make time for yourself and indulge in some luxury. Fee is $5.

First Friday Ballroom: June 3, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

Enjoy ballroom dancing featuring the Mike Wolverton Band and also a buffet dinner. All levels of experience, singles and couples welcome. Fee is $10 by June 2, $12 after.

Shredding for Safety: June 7, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Farmington and Farmington Hills residents 50 & better can bring up to four paper grocery bags of sensitive documents to be shredded. No junk mail or trash, please. Enter Gate 3, remain in your car, and exit Gate 4. No fee.

Dine and Discover – The Boblo Steamers: Matriarchs of the Detroit River: June 8, 11 a.m.

Enjoy a lecture, video, and slide show about these historic steamers and the history of Boblo Island. Enjoy a delicious treat while you learn. Fee is $8. Must register in advance.

Friday’s Film: June 17, 12 p.m.-3 p.m.

After a delicious lunch, enjoy the movie “Trumbo” with candy, popcorn, and a drink. Fee is $5 in advance, $7 at the door.

Courtyard Picnic and BBQ: June 30, 12 p.m.-1 p.m.

Celebrate the 4th of July with a picnic lunch featuring your summertime favorites. Fee is $3 by June 27, $5 after. Space is limited.
