Memorial Day closing

Both the Main Library and Farmington branch will be closed May 29, 30 and 31, for the Memorial Day holiday.

Hooked on Books: 7 p.m., May 23, Main Library

Join your fellow book lovers for a monthly discussion of new and classic books. This month’s title is The Virgin Blue by Tracy Chevalier.

Outside the Lines: Adult Coloring: 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., May 24, Main Library

Join us for refreshments and color away your stress. Adult coloring sheets and coloring tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Lu Jong – Tibetan Healing Yoga: 10 a.m., May 26, Main Library

In this program you will learn a series of 21 simple movements that are appropriate for people of all ages and abilities.
Get to know these movements and find out all about their numerous benefits for your body, mind and spirit. All of these classes are open to any and all participants though each session is limited to 20 spaces. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or towel if possible.

FCL Digital Library: 2 p.m., May 26, Main Library

Learn all about what is available through the FCL Digital Library, through Overdrive, 3M, Freegal, Hoopla, and Zinio. Bring your tablet or e-reader, and make sure to bring the email and password that are associated with your device.

Learn to Meditate: Heartfulness, Relaxation & Meditation: 7 p.m., May 26, Main Library

Learn simple relaxation and meditation exercises to help restore balance in life, manage stress, better your health and lead to calm and inner peace.
