UPDATE: Farmington man missing May 21 found safe

Farmington resident Marlin Trent Smith has been missing since Saturday afternoon.

UPDATE: A Farmington man reported missing on Saturday was found safe and returned to his family.

Farmington Public Safety asked for help in locating a 55-year-old Farmington man who went missing after a visit to his brother’s home on Lafayette in Detroit.

According to a press release, Marlin Trent Smith was last seen at 2 p.m. He suffers from a closed head injury and is susceptible to seizures. His family is concerned, because he has not taken his anti-seizure medications.

Smith is described as African-American, 5’10”, 180 lbs., and was last seen wearing dark grey pants, a Michael Jackson t-shirt, white gym shoes, and a black Army hat. Also known by the nickname “Smitty,” he wears glasses and has a short beard.
