From left, Cook and Block shared their personal cancer stories with State Rep. Christine Greig (D-Farmington Hills). The event brought together cancer advocates from across the state to urge lawmakers to reduce Michigan’s tobacco burden, help patients access the care they need and improve cancer prevention programs. 56,530 Michiganders will be diagnosed with cancer in 2016.
