With the district for 18 years, Groenenboom has served in the roles of media technician, behavior management paraprofessional, and high school counseling technician.

“What truly makes Susie so exceptional is the time she takes to listen to a questioning staff member or a concerned parent…the time she takes to make sure every student is accounted for….the time to complete any task that is asked of her,” said Harrison assistant principal Angela Leach. “For Susie, it is always about what others need, so for them, she makes all the time in the world.”

“Susie exemplifies an outstanding, dependable, and reliable employee,” said Amy Proctor, department chairperson and guidance counselor at Harrison. “She demonstrates kindness and respect with all students, parents and staff members.”

Groenenboom will be recognized at a special Board of Education meeting for student and staff recognition held at 6:30 p.m. on May 24, at the Lewis Schulman Administrative Center in Farmington.
