The Ford Foundation and the Call to Action Coalition, with the support from the Farmington PTA, Farmington Hills Police, and Farmington Public Safety, will sponsor “Drugs 101: What Parents Want to Know,” presented April 18 by representatives of Saint Joseph Mercy Health System.
Held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at North Farmington High School, the event is intended for parents, grandparents, guardians, coaches, teachers, administrators and others who work with teens. The program highlight is a model teen bedroom that shows the obvious and more subtle signs of teen drug use. Law enforcement officers will be on hand to discuss opioid abuse and will share tips for preventing teen drug abuse.
