Confidence Clinics offered for pageant, modeling hopefuls

This year, Farmington Hills-based Metro Detroit Pageants (MDP) will host a series of monthly “Confidence Clinics,” for aspiring models, actresses, and pageant contestants, kicking off April 16 at the Oakland Schools Conference Center in Waterford.

Starting at 10 a.m., the day will include interactive workshops providing tips, technique, and instruction in runway walking, public speaking, interview skills, and building overall confidence. MDP has partnered with Industry professionals to host the following breakout sessions:

  • Modeling/Runway Techniques
  • Communication Skills
  • Mock Interviews
  • Fashion Wardrobe Demos
  • Professional Headshots/Photo Session (additional fee)

There is no experience necessary, and the event is open to anyone age 10 or older. Sessions are grouped based on age and experience levels. Register at metrodetroitpageants.com. Onsite registration will also be available; bring a copy of your birth certificate and proof of Michigan residency.
