Closed over the winter months, the Governor Warner Mansion in Farmington re-opens April 3, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Visitors may tour the house museum, owned by the City of Farmington, with costumed docents waiting in every room, ready to answer questions and show you what life was like in the early 20th century. Just in time for the spring allergy season, check out the new exhibit of vintage handkerchiefs in the parlor.
There is no charge to attend the Spring Open House, but donations are always welcome. Refreshments will be served in the carriage house.
The Governor Warner Mansion is located at 33805 Grand River, two blocks west of Farmington Road. To learn more, follow the Mansion on Facebook or call the Farmington City Clerk’s Office at 248-474-5500, ext. 2225.
