City Clerk offices in Farmington and Farmington Hills will be open on March 5, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m., for anyone who needs, or needs to return, an absent voter ballot.
The March 8 Presidential Primary Election is a closed primary, requiring voters to select either a Republican Party or a Democratic Party ballot. The law requires voters to request their selection in writing, either on the absent voter application or on the application to vote at each precinct. There are no other offices or proposals on the ballot in either city.
Saturday marks the last day a voter can request a ballot to be mailed, and the absent ballot application may be downloaded at fhgov.com or farmgov.com, or by calling the Farmington Hill City Clerk, 248-871-2410, or Farmington City Clerk, 248-474-5500, ext. 2218
