Farmington Community Band will present FCB Extravaganza – A Collage Concert on March 13, 3 p.m., in the Harrison High School Auditorium.
Admission is free for this afternoon of great musical variety showcasing the band’s instrumental voices, including a variety of flute and brass ensembles, a clarinet choir, and guest pianist, Roy Coloma of the Farmington Musicale, who will play the “Warsaw Concerto” by Richard Addinsell. The 95-piece Concert band, under the direction of Maestro Damien Crutcher, will assemble on stage for the second half of the concert, which will include a selection of concert band literature highlighted by “Symphonic Dance No. 3,” featuring special guest conductor, Paul DeRubeis.
