Farmington Hills-based Community Choice Foundation is offering students additional time to apply for its annual scholarship program, extending the application deadline to March 1.
Scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded to Michigan graduating high school seniors who pledge to stay in Michigan after graduation. To be eligible, applicants must plan on attending a Michigan college or university, and must pledge to stay in Michigan after college graduation. Scholarship applicants will be evaluated based on grade point average, dedication to community service and a written essay. New this year, the scholarship is open to all high school seniors in the state of Michigan.
