New RRRASOC app provides Recycling Directory

A new Resource Recovery and Recycling Authority of Southwest Oakland County (RRRASOC) app will make it easier for residents in Farmington and Farmington Hills to know what can be recycled and composted, and what should be tossed out with the trash.

RRRASOC appRRRASOC recently released “The Recycling Directory,” with versions for iPhone and Android platforms.

“We want to make it easy for our residents to know what to do with their unwanted items,” said Mike Csapo, RRRASOC General Manager, “so we’re making this searchable Recycling Directory available from the RRRASOC website and as a mobile app. With these new tools residents have around the clock access to information on how to recycle, compost, reuse and manage household waste.”

The mobile app is customized for the Recycling Authority, with a home page providing program information including links directly to member community websites. To add the app to devices, search for “Recycling Authority” from the App Store or Google Play.

The app can also be accessed at recollect.net/app/rrrasoc/ios or recollect.net/app/rrrasoc/android.
