Registration is now open for the March childbirth education classes being offered by Beaumont Hospital – Farmington Hills.
During the four-week Childbirth Education Comprehensive Series, both parents will learn about the stages of labor, relaxation and breathing methods, strategies for managing discomfort, the partner’s role in labor and delivery, C-section deliveries, medications, anesthesia and more. The class meets from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on March 2, 9, 16 and 23 at the hospital, 28050 Grand River Ave.
The hospital’s one-night Breast-feeding Clinic offers support to new moms who need assistance nursing their babies. Recommended for any woman who is thinking about nursing her baby, the course examines various products and supplies, including electric breast pumps. The class will take place March 14, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the hospital.
